Women may soon rule the Web, according to The New York Times. At least that’s my take on a recent story. According to it, the number of visitors to female-oriented Web sites has nearly doubled since 2006.
Last year, such sites grew 35 percent, faster than any other category except politics. And although men are heavy Web users, they are not partial to sites geared to them, according to the NYT article. Could that be because men see general interest Web sites as their own?
